is equipped for sound Biblical counsel. Wayne's
discernment, wisdom, and polymathy(gifts of God—glory to Him alone)
provide him with Godly insights into many areas of life. His gifts
equip him to minister and counsel in God's will.
Counsel may be sought to surmount a challenge or trial, to ease
suffering and find perspective, to understand oneself or others better,
to cope more effectively with given conditions, or any number of other goals.
Counsel is covered heavily by prayer. It is by the grace of God
that challenges in our lives are conquered. If the counseled has any
preferences for or against prayer while meeting, however, his or her
wishes will be respected.
Although counsel is decidedly Biblical (Christian/Messianic), the counseled need
not be a believer. While it is hoped that belief may be found, conversion is not
an appropriate goal unless sought by the counseled.

The fine print...
If possible, the presence of another adult (a parent or guardian if the
counseled is a minor) in a nearby room is requested, so as to avoid any
hint of impropriety. This is for the ethical and legal protection of all.
Counsel is kept confidential, and privacy is respected. The counsel
content will not be divulged to anyone (except the Lord), nor will the
existence of the relationship, unless explicit permission is
granted by the counseled.
Recording devices may be employed at times for the sake of accurate and
efficient note-taking or for ethical reasons, if necessary. All notes,
whether recorded or written, will be stored in encrypted form and will not shared
with anyone without explicit permission by the counseled.
If needs exceed Wayne's gifts, or if the relationship
fails to meet either party's expectations, or if simply requested, referrals to
other counselors can be arranged. A counsel relationship is as unique as
any relationship; sometimes people click and work well together, and sometimes
they don't. It's no problem to seek a different counselor for any reason.
